Iv no real specific style of music, I try everything from classical to speedcore. I do need to say music - not songs, I'm hopeless at lyrics - but we cant all b perfect ;) Iv been makin music since quartet on the ST and it has been a major part of my life since. You get an idea and just want 2 c what u can make of it, mayb messing around on ur keyboard - or u hear a song and think 'that chord sequence is wasted - it'd b so much better if they..' - it doesnt always work and sometimes it shouldnt - Iv had to let countless ideas go because i coudnt do much with them beyond the initial idea - ok, sure u could force a track of it - but itl sound forced - so its better not 2 bother - leave it awhile - com bak to it next year or sumthin - mayb ul know more or have fresh ideas (ud hope!) and b able to use it - if it isnt workin - leave it alone. I think iv got ok at makin music now - u progress in stages writin music, and finnally u reach a stage where you can go back to songs u made a year or so before and still think they sound ok - thats when ur doing ok - ur no longer thinkin 'wheres the panning? hav u herd of dynamics? less is more - christ what was i thinking?' thats where i am now - almost - wel c ina year i guess.
