Adding axes to an object.

When you animate an object and want it to follow a path, it is made alot easier by assigning axes to it. By doing this and using the 'look ahead' option, the object will follow the path and will turn with the corners, sideways and up and down.

In this guide we will make a simple object that will follow a circular path.

Make a cube and copy it. Shrink 1 of the cubes and place it as shown. This gives the object a 'front' to demonstrate the technique.

Glue the cubes together

Click the Move Axes to Center of Object button.

A pair of axes will now appear in the center of the cubes.
